SIGNATURE HEALTHCARE WELCOMES INFERTILITY SPECIALISTS TO THE COMMUNITY

SIGNATURE HEALTHCARE-There is a significant time commitment for a woman or a couple undergoing fertility treatment, including many visits to specialists. Choosing a conveniently located doctor who can give a couple the best chances for conception is vital.

In partnership with the Center for Reproduction and Infertility at Women & Infants Hospital and Tufts Medical Center, Signature Healthcare is pleased to welcome Reproductive Endocrinologists to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital.

“For a woman coping with infertility, hormone problems, menstrual pain and irregularity, partnering with the right provider – in a setting that is close to home – is vital,” said Sandra A. Carson, MD, director of the Center for Reproduction and Infertility, and a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. “Our physicians have nearly 200 years of combined experience caring for women hoping to become pregnant. Our goal is to begin treatment quickly and achieve success with plans designed personally for each patient, as an individual.”

A comprehensive approach for both male and female infertility patients is provided through a team of reproductive endocrinologists, nurses, social workers, and other providers, working along with specialists in male infertility, as needed. Specialized genetic services and consultation are also available.
The partnership also brings a wide variety of reproductive endocrinology services to the community, including excess hair growth, hormone therapy after menopause, pelvic pain, polycystic ovarian disease, repeated miscarriages, severe endometriosis, early menopause, and premature ovarian failure. Services for the treatment of sexual problems are provided in coordination with Women & Infants’ Center for Sexuality, Intimacy and Fertility.

“This is a great resource for the local community, not only for families and women trying to conceive, but for the additional expertise of doctors from Women & Infants’ Center for Sexuality, Intimacy and Fertility who can help address sexuality and intimacy issues for women of all ages,” said Keith Merlin, MD, Chief of OB/GYN for Signature Healthcare. “We look forward to partnering with Women & Infants specialists to bring an expanded range of care to our female patients.”
