All proceeds go to funding music lessons for Brockton Public School students

“Brockton Symphony Orchestra has been a staple of the Brockton and Metro South region, performing world class music and entertainment since 1948. The Family Concert will marinate the passion and energy of Brockton’s Mary E Baker elementary, Canton’s Garvin Middle School and others, with the experience of professional musicians.”

- Pauline Perkins, resident of Brockton and Brockton Symphony Orchestra board member

Share the fun and joy of music with children in this lively introduction to the orchestra. Participate in the magic – march, dance, and tap your toes as they play rousing favorites.

The Mary E. Baker Elementary School Chorus will showcase over 30 young students in two pieces, one of which will be played with the Orchestra. These young performances will follow in the footsteps of the school’s name sake, Mary E Baker, a well known area activist, musical aficionado and community hero. Canton’s Galvin Middle School String Orchestra will perform an invigorating rendition of Red Iguana Rhumba. And last year’s Feinberg Youth Competition participant and piano prodigy, Anna Larsen will play Mozart
