Brockton Public Library presents: Park for free at Massachusetts state parks

Brockton Public Library presents: Park for free at Massachusetts state parks

Did you know that the price of parking at a Massachusetts state park just increased from $2 to $5 a day? If you think that increase means you won’t be visiting Borderland State Park in North Easton or Blue Hills Reservation in Milton anytime soon, we have great news for you. With your Brockton Public Library adult card in good standing, you can borrow our MassParks pass and park at any of their 50 sites statewide for free. Our museum passes are generously funded by Brockton Cultural Council, a local agency of Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. Pick up a Museum Pass brochure at the library or look on our website atwww.brocktonpubliclibrary.org to find discounted admission to 25 different museums, parks, and other attractions. This year, make it your new year’s resolution: visit Massachusetts parks.

Brockton Public Library is located at 304 Main Street, Brockton, Mass. 508-580-7890. All programs are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. You do not have to be a resident of Brockton to attend. We are a member of Old Colony Library Network (OCLN.) Any resident of Massachusetts can register for a free Brockton Public Library card; bring photo ID and proof of current address to the main circulation desk.
