BROCKTON POLICE LOG UPDATED TO MONDAY, JUNE 6, 2011

SUNDAY, JUNE 5, 2011 9:14 a.m. Disturbance at 198 Chatham West Dr. Spoke with tenants who state that 6 people live in apartment. Initial report is loud noise on weekend as early as 5 a.m., Asked if they could please respect their neighbors and tone it down. Apparently this has been a problem for months.


12:56 p.m. Code Enforcement at Brockton Mini Mart, 139 Pleasant St. Video forensics from last robbery.

5:19 p.m. Larceny investigation on Ames Street. Two males abandoned unopened container of toilet paper and hid it upon sight of police. Second male then came back and initially stated he bought it and believed it was stolen from Walmart and was trying to sell it. Male stated he was selling it to the second male who got nervous upon seeing the police. Male then stated his girlfriend may have stolen it from Costco. He stated he just wanted to leave with the stolen merchandise. TP seized and turned in at BPD.


11:27 p.m. Assault & battery with dangerous weapon on Chatham West Drive. Caller states his neighbor allegedly attacked him, threw a candle at him and thinks he may have broken his hand. Caller states her neighbor was peeking in her windows. Natacha Faustin-Charles, 28, of Brockton was charged with A&B with dangerous weapon.
