Crescent Employees Raise $15,000 for Strong Kids Campaign

May 20, 2011, Brockton, MA – If you drove passed the Brockton Fairgrounds Sunday morning, May 15, you may have noticed a bit of commotion. That commotion was over 80 Crescent Credit Union employees, family, and friends raising $15,000 for the Old Colony YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
“Our employees deserve a ton of recognition for their extraordinary effort,” said Crescent Credit Union President & CEO Robert Gustafson. “The success of this campaign will ensure that dozens of children go to camp this summer and benefit from the many programs offered through the YMCA.”

For the past 3 months, Crescent employees collected contributions from credit union members, business partners, family and friends – all leading up to the Strong Kids Walk on Sunday.

UPDATE ON NUNZIO

Brocktonbeat has been featuring Nunzio for a couple of weeks and his surgery was a success. He was in need of major surgery and thanks to the generous donors he was able to have it and he is doing well. Nunzio’s surgery was a success! Thank you to all who donated to help make his operation a reality.Years of neglected ear infections have left this little Maltese in desperate need of major surgery.
