TRUE FEELINGS

Life is weird. Even weirder when one is sick. Things go through my mind as I am still human. What I do think is weird is how my own feelings go through my mind. Fears and even a little depression every now and then. What fears I do have is being alone when my time is up to meet my maker. I feel this way as I think mainly as I have been single for so long and now feel that being sick with my disease I will never meet my soul mate. With the oxygen and dealing with the weight issue I feel that people will just look at me as an out cast. For full story please see How Rare Would You like That.

BROCKTON RESIDENTS SPEAK OUT PART 3

CFO of the City of Brockton John Condon addresses the residents about the water billing problems.

BROCKTON RESIDENTS SPEAK OUT PART 2

Brockton Residents speak out against the water billing system at the Brockton Water Department. The residents are now getting liens on their homes because of inflated bills and the water department cannot explain the bills. The department is saying faulty meters, leaks, outdated software. Every meter that is taken out is tested fine but the department is still saying the meters are faulty and still billing the residents. This is while a major water audit is going on and people were told that the audit will help and peoples houses will not have liens placed on them. Listen to the residents as they tell it best.

BROCKTON RESIDENTS SPEAK OUT Part 1

Brockton United Voices and residents of Brockton came out in show off support on January 31, 2011 for the first Water Meeting concerns Major water system billing errors and mismanagement at the department. Many of the residents came out because now the City of Brockton has choosen to put tax liens on residents propety tax and will add another step for residens to take to safe guard their houses in this down spiral economy. An Audit is going forward but the question remains still, why were these liens put on the first place when the department knew about the ongoing water billing problems.Broken meters, outdated software, homes that have leaks have all been given as an explanation but companies need people to run them and apparently at the department much has gotten by in the past 5 years that in any other sector such as the private sector or a water ultitlity that was under DPU guidlines would never seen the light of day. Another major question is why was the audit taken away from the Mayor when the residents were told this would not effect their homes. The Mayor wanted the Audit back in July but some councilors for priveledged reason choose to fore stall that measure and this person believes that is one of the reasons that the homes are liened today. Like the old saying "Be leary of clothes dressed up in sheeps clothing". We will be compiling the meeting into 4 or 5 parts and this part the residents speak. When we get to the part where the lawyers speak we will break that down word for word and try to read between the lines. Good luck to everyone who has a lien and has to deal with this department. It is time for privatization.

TIMES ARE TOUGH FOR EVERYONE

Times are tough for everyone these days especially on unwanted animals. Some may be a bit older and actually that can be advantage if they were trained properly. Some my have need just a little time to adjust to their surroundings but I am sure after awhile they will be calling your home theirs too. Animals help us in many ways and they say(who are they) that animals are therapeutic and can add years on to ones life, that's assuming you want to live. We have always showcased the animals at the local shelter and hope you find it in your heart and home and budget to possibly think about adopting one of these beautiful animals. I am writing this because the house cats think its alright to wake me up at 3 AM for some head scratching. They also say not getting enough sleep will take years away from your life but I think both balance each other out.

WHATCHULOOKINAT

Most people look at my when I am doing my walking at a local mall as I use a walker and of course I have my oxygen. I use a walker when I do any kind of long walks so I can stop and take a break as I do get winded. The walker I have is one that has the four wheels and a seat on it. I get looked at mainly as a 43 year old person using a walker and on oxygen, they don't know whats wrong. But take away the oxygen and the walker and say i go for a short walk from the car to the convience store. People would have no idea that i am sick. Sarcoidosis is this type of disease. It hits people differently. As it starts usually in the organs, and it also can hit the joints. For full article please see HOW RARE WOULD YOU LIKE THAT.

YOU HAVE WHAT? SARCOIDOSIS DESCRIBED

As promised I have a quick description of this rare disease that one out of 100,000 people have. Sarcoidosis is rare and hard to diagnose. Chest x-rays, CT scans, bronchoschopies and lung biopsies are ways to get an accurate diagnosis of the disease. How can you tell if you have it before all this. Like everything else when we get sick, symptoms are usually present. These symptoms of Sarcoidosis can be but not limited to, shortness of breath, dry cough, abnormal breathing sounds, ill feeling, weight loss and fatigue to name a few. PLEASE SEE HOW RARE WOULD YOU LIKE THAT FOR REST OF STORY.

WATER BILL MEETINGS TO BE HELD MONTHLY

BrocktonPost

BROCKTON—Residents who attended an informational meeting about disputed water bills are expected to submit a petition to Mayor Linda Balzotti to act in the matter, including enacting a new ordinance that would require the water department perform an actual meter reading every year—a policy similar to the state’s Department of Public Utilities requirements.
“That’s the industry practice and standard,” said Ward 6 City Councilor Michelle DuBois, who along with Councilor-at-large Jass Stewart and numerous residents with Brockton United Voices organized Monday night’s meeting held at the Mary Baker Elementary School.(FOR FULL ARTICLE PLEASE SEE BROCKTON POST)
