EFSB BEGINS BROCKTON POWER PLANT HEARINGS TUESDAY

BROCKTON--The Energy Facilities Siting Board will begin hearings Tuesday, Nov. 9 to decide changes to plans for the proposed construction of a controversial 350-megawatt natural gas power plant expected to be built on the Brockton-West Bridgewater border.
A spokesman for the EFSB said the first hearing for the board to consider changes submitted by Brockton Clean Energy will be held Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m.
The hearing will be held at 1 South Station. The meeting room is on the second floor.
Hearings will also be held Monday, Nov. 15 and Thursday Dec. 2.
